Cade Tompkins Projects is a member of the International Fine Print Dealers Associaton (IFPDA). Cade Tompkins Projects’ focus is contemporary art, featuring work by emerging artists as well as mid-career and established artists in various mediums including printmaking, sculpture, drawing, installations, and photography.
Cade Tompkins has been a contemporary art dealer for over 30 years, first in New York while working for Brooke Alexander Gallery from 1981-1992 and then working as a private dealer creating special exhibitions in and around New York. In 1998, Cade and her family moved from New York to Providence, Rhode Island. Cade Tompkins Projects opened September 25, 2009 and to date has featured 37 exhibitions. Cade Tompkins graduated from the Appraisal Studies in Art Certificate Program at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in conjunction with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and is USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice 2016-2017) compliant. Gallery clients range from new collectors, corporate collectors and seasoned art connoisseurs. Cade Tompkins is interested in finding art for clients at all levels of collecting.
Collaborations with many important institutions include the Rhode Island School of Design’s RISD Editions; Brown University; as well as national and international museum exhibitions and collections of works by represented artists. Cade Tompkins Projects presented Art in an Airstream during the 2016 IFPDA Print Fair, and has exhibited at SPRING/BREAK Art Show 2016 and 2017 during Armory Week, NYC and the Editions/Artists’ Book Fair (2006 to 2013), NYC. Cade Tompkins Projects is listed on Artsy and Printed Editions and is a member of ArtTable and IFPDA.
