Crow’s Shadow is a rural non-profit artist residency program which specializes in fine art lithography print publishing, with an emphasis on working with contemporary Native American artists. Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts (CSIA) typically invites 3-4 artist out per year to our residency program, where they are able to work with our full-time Master Printer in developing a set of limited edition prints. CSIA was founded in 1992 by painter James Lavadour and is celebrating its 25 Anniversary in 2017. The gallery and studio are located in the historic St. Andrew’s mission schoolhouse, in the foothills of Oregon’s Blue Mountains on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
