The Portuguese artist José Pedro Croft is known for large, geometric sculptures that incorporate sheets of glass and mirrors alongside found objects such as chairs, doors and industrial materials. Color is provided through tinted glass and painted surfaces, and his innovative compositions offer complex views of space and volume. Croft also maintains a robust involvement in drawing and printmaking, where he deftly conceptualizes three-dimensional forms on paper.
