“Without prints you don’t understand the culture of the world.”—Leo Steinberg
From 2011 to 2019 Art in Print offered important and timely writing on art and prints by an international array of curators and critics, artists and scholars. The reach was global, and encompassed the complete history of printed images from ancient China to 21st century Brooklyn.
Each issue included original articles and reviews of recent exhibitions, editions, and books, as well as the latest winner of the Prix de Print competition. The journal also occasionally included original work designed by artists exclusively for the pages of Art in Print.
Back issues of the journal are available for individual purchase through MagCloud.
